Answers to the "God Before Creation" Quiz   

   1. What did the omniscient, all-powerful God do before creating everything else that exists?

•    He could not have been reigning in heaven if he had not created it yet. Please re-read the

                question.

•    He could not have been planning creation. If God is omniscient he already knew how 

                creation would be.

•    "Nothing" would be the correct answer if God existed. Prior to creating everything else 

                there would have been nothing to do, no place to go, nobody to talk to, nothing to see, etc.

                The omniscient, all-powerful being would have done nothing for an eternity past. This is, 

                of course, a rather silly notion; God sitting in a cold dark vacuum alone doing nothing.

•    The correct answer is: The point is moot. There is no god.

          2. What language did God speak before creation?

•    The correct answer is: None. There was nobody to talk to and no air to carry the sound.  

                It would have been pointless for God to have his own language if he was the only being who 

               existed.

          3. What language did God think in?

•    The correct answer is: None. without language there can be no thought. For a further

           4. What did God actually design? 

•    The correct answer is: Nothing. Prior knowledge of everything precludes the ability to 

                 design anything. A being who knows the future already knows how everything will end

                 up. A being like that can't have an original idea because there was no point at which that
